El conjunto dirigido por José Luis Páez realizó un buen certamen en una nueva edición de la Copa de las Naciones, pero en esta oportunidad no le alcanzó para repetir el título que había logrado en el 2017.
En la final de la Copa de las Naciones de Montreux, la Selección Argentina perdió ante Portugal por 5-3, y debió conformarse con la medalla plateada. Los tres tantos argentinos fueron marcados por Lucas Ordóñez.
El equipo argentino regresará al país y luego se preparará para su compromiso más importante del año, el Roller Games que se disputará en Barcelona, España.
