Luego de regresar de España, uno de los países más afectados por el Covid-19, el medallista olímpico en vela Javier Conte realizó su cuarentena obligatoria en una casa rodante.
El mundo continúa en alerta debido a la emergencia sanitaria y como es de público conocimiento los grandes eventos deportivos permanecen suspendidos sin fechas concretas de reanudación hasta el momento.
Miles de historias comenzaron a conocerse durante los últimos días a raíz de la emergencia sanitaria y vinculadas al ambiente deportiva, que también están sujetos a las normas de prevención impuestas por el Gobierno Nacional en medio de la pandemia.
Javier Conte, medallista olímpico, campeón panamericano y último abanderado de la delegación argentina en los Juegos Panamericano de Lima 2019 regresó de España, uno de los países más afectados por el coronavirus, y realizó su aislamiento obligatorio en una casa rodante.
“Pensé que iba a ser más duro de lo que fue”, dijo al medio “Telam” el deportista argentino de 44 años que se aisló justo enfrente de su domicilio en la localidad de Pilar, en la provincia de Buenos Aires.
“Mi objetivo era ser responsable con los demás. En el caso de que hubiera estado contagiado, no contagiar a nadie. Lo llevé con la tranquilidad de saber de que estaba haciendo bien las cosas y que el objetivo que me había puesto era cuidar al prójimo”.
“Me hice una planificación para ordenarme una rutina en la que hacía dos veces por día el entrenamiento físico; tenía bicicleta fija, mancuernas, bandas elásticas. Y después me preparaba la comida y me bañaba”.
“Con las personas que entreno normalmente nos juntábamos una hora por día a través de un programa de teleconferencia vía internet y les daba una charla de conceptos tácticos y otras consideraciones de la vela. Cuando terminé período de aislamiento hice veinte metros y entré a mi casa a empezar la cuarentena con mi familia”.
