“Vamos a dar todo para clasificarnos a los Juegos Olímpicos”

Camila Arregui, de la Selección Argentina de nado sincronizado, habló sobre su vuelta a los entrenamientos junto a su compañera Trinidad López Brasesco y el deseo de estar en Tokio.

Desde que la Secretaría de Deportes permitió el regreso a los entrenamientos para los deportistas con proyección olímpica, atletas de distintas disciplinas volvieron a la actividad en sus respectivas localidades y con todos los protocolos indicados.

En la ciudad de Rosario, provincia de Santa Fe, Camila Arregui de la Selección Argentina de nado sincronizado se entrena junto a su compañera Trinidad López Brasesco con quien comparte el objetivo e ilusión de llegar a los Juegos Olímpicos de Tokio 2020.

Durante una entrevista con prensa oficial de la Secretaría de Deportes de la Nación, Arregui contó como fue la vuelta a la actividad y los desafíos planteados para el seleccionado nacional en el corto plazo.

“Volver al agua no fue fácil, nos sentíamos raras al principio, pero por suerte ya estamos muy bien y vamos a dar todo para clasificarnos a los Juegos Olímpicos. Esperemos que salga pronto la vacuna contra el COVID-19 -para que no corran riesgo de realizarse y podamos regresar a la competencia Entre otras competencias teníamos por delante el Sudamericano en Argentina y siempre es lindo participar de un torneo internacional en nuestro país”

Sobre la relación con su compañera, López Brasesco, Camila Arregui comentó: “Con Trini nos llevamos muy bien y siempre nos alentamos, Fueron meses duros, entrenando de lunes a sábados cuatro horas por día a través de la plataforma Zoom con toda la Selección, más algunos entrenamientos extras para trabajar la marcación de las rutinas del dúo. Pero obviamente en el agua todo es distinto. Nos costó adaptarnos, pero por suerte ahora estamos cada vez mejor y creo que vamos a alcanzar pronto nuestro mejor nivel. La angustia y la incertidumbre van a quedando atrás”.

“Para nosotras fue muy importante que se fueran sumando las demás chicas del equipo a los entrenamientos, esto quiere decir que poco a poco todo se va flexibilizando; aunque debemos tener muchos cuidados y respetar al máximo los protocolos”, finalizó Camila Arregui de la Selección Argentina de nado sincronizado.
