El jueves fue jornada de actividad para las selecciones argentina de beach voley, que otra vez tuvieron actuaciones destacadas y sumaron sus segundas victorias, en igual cantidad de presentaciones dentro de estos Juegos Panamericanos de Lima 2019.
En primer turno, la dupla femenina compuesta por Ana Gallay y Fernanda Pereyra se impuso ante Nicaragua por 2-0, con parciales que terminaron en 21-12 y 21-11, para cosechar el segundo triunfo tras la victoria ante Guatemala.
Luego fue tiempo de la dupla masculina integrada por Julián Azaad y Nicolás Capogrosso, que después del triunfo ante Trinidad y Tobago, sumó su segundo encuentro ganado en esta ocasión frente a El Salvador por 2-0, con set que finalizaron en 21-12 y 21-12 para los argentinos.
Los equipos argentinos quedaron bien posicionados para la próxima ronda, pero buscarán ganar sus respectivos grupos para avanzar directamente a los Cuartos de Final de la competencia. Las chicas se medirán ante Canadá y los chicos frente a Estados Unidos.
