Juan Manuel Vivaldi, arquero de la Selección Argentina, se refirió al momento particular que atraviesa en cuarentena y la actualidad de los Leones que entrenan en sus domicilios.
Los Juegos Olímpicos de Tokio 2020 se postergaron, pero los atletas y equipos en conjuntos ya clasificados mantendrán su plaza para la cita que todo hace indicar que se realizará el próximo año.
Entre ellos, la Selección Argentina de hockey masculino que fue campeona olímpica en Río 2016 y que durante este año comenzó con buena competencia disputando la FIH Pro League.
Durante una entrevista con TyC Sports, Juan Manuel Vivaldi, arquero y referente de los Leones contó detalles de sus días en cuarentena y el trabajo que realizan los Leones en este contexto.
“Esta difícil para todos, la federación nos pasó un entrenamiento para hacer todos los días y en eso estamos, más que nada lo que hacemos es un mantenimiento físico”.
“Es difícil calcularlo, a nosotros se nos complica porque no tenemos las herramientas en nuestras casas como para practicar, por ese motivo solo tratamos de mantenernos físicamente ya que es imposible recrear la realidad de los entrenamientos en nuestros hogares, yo al ser arquero trato de perfeccionar los reflejos”.
“Hablando con los chicos, me cuentan que cada país tiene su protocolo, pero sé que en Bélgica y Holanda pueden salir al parque a practicar, ellos tienen más permitidos, en España sé que están más complicados y no pueden salir a entrenar aún, es parecido a nosotros que estamos acá”.
“Yo tenía planeado en mi cabeza estar en Tokio en 2020, entiendo todo lo que pasó a nivel mundial y estoy con las mismas ganas para el año que viene”.
